So much going on. Sorry I haven't written in a while. But there have been some new developments. First of all. I'M ON AMAZON. Yes you heard that right. I am now officially selling on Amazon. I am excited beyond belief. Not only that, I have ordered smaller jars. Soon I will add to my inventory 5 oz jars and 8 oz jars. So many good things happening. I am grateful for all the good things. My kids enjoy helping me make the body butter. I look forward to sharing my products with everyone. Oh, I even joined TikTok. Still working on getting "hip" on that platform. It will all come together.

Quickly I misjudged the amount of time it was going to take me to make my jars. I have made 11 out of 50 so far. The first 8 were done in a 4 hour period. I think the excitement from starting kept me going that first day. Yesterday, I literally slept all day and night from the moment I got home. So no jars were made yesterday. But I have the weekend with my kids and they will be more than happy to help. I have made some sells already. Super excited about that. It all starts with just 1. My next step is to find some local shop around town and perhaps see if they would be interested in selling my product. With the ultimate moisture my product offers, it would be hard to beat. The future of my company is bright. Look out! I'm coming your way!!!

It Begins

Today production started on the Body Butter. I have been so excited for this day. To share with the world my creation. My gift. I wish I could take a vacation from work to work on my business. We all know that probably wont happen. But, keeping it positive, I have done it. There is a feeling of satisfaction unlike anything else I have accomplished. This is me. This is mine. This will be my legacy.

I Wonder

As I was at work the other day. I had a conversation with a co worker about working on different shifts. He made the mention about me having kids. Granted I don't want to change my hours. For the most part they fit my life. But it made me wonder, why is having a family so wrong in today's world? Why do most companies want you to believe "the job comes first"? It was that moment I was thankful I am doing what I'm doing. I found a product I like. Maybe create generational wealth for my children. That is the goal. To create something my kids can build upon, so they, don't fall into the trap of working 30 to 40 years to maybe enjoy retirement.

As I am getting closer to the full release of my product. It is becoming more exciting. The feeling of accomplishment is rising. Knowing this is something that is being built from the ground up. All on my own. If everything goes right, my first product will be ready to order next weekend. Getting back to the basics of life is what we all need. My Body Butter will help you do that.

New Adventure

I always knew I wanted to do something different in life. I just never knew what that was. I felt it deep inside me soul that I could do more. That I could contribute more. I didn't want to live my life working long hours. Never really enjoying life. It was a few weeks ago that I found something. Something that I found interesting. As an African American I am no stranger to using lotions or body butters to moisturize my skin. I asked myself one day, can I make my own? After the first time I made my own body butter I knew I had found what I was looking for. This was it. This was my contribution. This was going to be my gift to the world.
